National π Day was held March (03) 14, 2008. Macquarie University celebrated the occasion with the christening
of the
Access Grid Room (located in the ICS Division building E6A 202) listening to a lecture given by
Prof. Jonathon Borwein of Dalhousie University in Canada, live from Newcastle University.
