Salah Mehanee received his PhD degree in Geophysics in 2003 from the University of Utah (UU), USA. After his PhD completion, he continued working with the Consortium for Electromagnetic Modelling and Inversion (CEMI), UU, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. In late 2004, he joined the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Science, Cairo University, Egypt, as a Lecturer (tenure track). In June 2006, Salah joined the Department of Mathematics, Macquarie University as a Research Fellow. Salah's research interests include developing and applying modelling and inversion geophysical techniques (with emphasis on electromagnetic methods) for earth imaging. In his spare time, Salah listens to music, and plays and watches soccer.
